Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus Consecration Call

Dear Alberta Family

As we were praying last April, the Lord spoke a simple but clear instruction for the August gathering:  gather My friends and I will show you My face.  Since then, we have sought Him how to prepare for this gathering and He stirred us to set aside a time of focused consecration of our hearts before Him.

Hebrews 12:14  tells us that without holiness no one will see the Lord.  Holiness is one of those words that can conjure up a lot of religious images of rules and regulations. 

But we sense that God is calling us to something deeper -  a holiness born from beholding Him, from receiving greater revelation of who He is, so that our hearts are awakened with a renewed fire of first love.  Consumed by love, we will gladly devote ourselves fully to Him, not from a sense of religious duty but through a joyful abandoning of anything that can hinder our full union with Him. 

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

For the next 28 days, we will take a time each day for corporate worship, to enter the Lord’s presence and allow Him to reveal Himself to us in a fresh way.  These worship sessions will be broadcast live on Mixlr (http://mixlr.com/alberta-project/ )  with the first one starting at 8:00 p.m. (MST) the first evening of the consecration, July 20th.   We will also send out exhortations via email as the Lord leads us.

May we turn our eyes on Jesus until everything else fades away.
